Pabst Mansion

Pabst Mansion was built in the 1890s by Captain Frederick Pabst, a German immigrant who achieved great success as a brewer in Milwaukee. He and his wife, Maria Best, wanted to create a home that embodied their style of living and symbolized their wealth and status. The mansion was designed by renowned architect Charles Crane in the Flemish Renaissance Revival style, with 35 rooms spread over three floors.
